We have a very large family room with lots of space to hang out or for kids to play. The woodwork is all original and the fireplace is a working, wood burning fireplace. The is a small entry room from the front door that helps with insulation. The door with all the glass windows leads to the front door.

Kitchen

Our kitchen is one of the largest kitchens we have seen in these old houses. It was actually one of the deciding factors when we were trying to decide which house to purchase. It is very open and is completely updated. There is a lot of cupboard space!! There is a breakfast nook with a ceiling fan in the kitchen. We set up our office there, but there is plenty of space for a small dining table or other cabinet/storage options. There is a new gas range, new fridge, dishwasher, garbage disposal and microwave.

Dining Room

This is a very large dining room, with plenty of space for a table, hutch and whatever else you have. There are built in china cabinets with two shelves in each cupboard. There is also a telephone nook with space for a phone, as well as a little storage cupboard for address books, note paper, etc...

Attic

The attic is huge! We have a playroom set up at one end and a hyda-bed and lazy boy set up at the other end to use when guests come. It has nice, plush carpeting so it is a great, cozy place to hang out. We also have a large storage closet built in as well as two ceiling fans.

Bedroom #1

This is the bedroom we use as the master bedroom. It is not the largest of the three rooms, but we have a king size bed in it and as you can see there is plenty of room. We have a night stand and two dressers in here as well, and the room does not feel crowded. There is one double closet in this room, two windows and a ceiling fan.

Bedroom #2

This is the largest of the three bedrooms. It has the bunk beds along the one wall, a large dresser and a bookshelf on the opposite wall, and there is still room at the end for an open space with a table and chairs and an art easel for the kids. This is a very nice size room and has a ceiling fan. We will be repainting this room so it will not be orange for whoever purchases the house.

Bedroom #3

The third bedroom is the smallest of the three but is still a large bedroom. It has a lard walk-in closet and a ceiling fan.

We have a large updated bathroom. It has the original pedestal sink with updated hardware, original tile floor and tile work on the walls. The plumbing has been updated with a new shower fixture installed with a massage sprayer with a hose. There is a very large storage closet with shelving on three walls up to the ceiling.

Sunroom

Our sunroom is insulated and has electricity, so it adds an extra room for a small office, a craft room, storage, etc. It is comfortable in the spring, summer and fall, and we use a space heater in the winter.

We have a fully fenced back yard with a stone patio and two mature trees to offer lots of shade in the summer.

This is a beautiful home with lots of updates and a lot of charm. The rooms are very open and spacious. We have one of the largest kitchens and some of the largest bedrooms you can get in these older homes. The attic is huge! We have a playroom set up at one end and a hyda-bed and lazy boy set up at the other end to use when guests come. Our sunroom is insulated and has electricity, so it adds an extra room for a small office, a craft room, storage, etc. This home is about 10 minutes from Case Western on a quiet street with seven other dental students. Having other students around is great for car pooling, studying groups and for the wives and kids during the day! We are close to shopping centers, the community recreation center, parks, community pool and there is an elementary and middle school within walking distance.
